Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. The service

DeployKraken ("the Service", "we", "us") automates the path from a finished game build to digital storefronts: ingesting builds from connected build systems, packaging and versioning them, and deploying them to stores such as itch.io and Steam on your instruction. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a studio or company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that entity.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. Each studio workspace has an owner who can manage users, billing, and workspace settings; actions taken by users of your workspace are your responsibility. Notify us immediately at support@deploykraken.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Your content

Game builds, packaged deliverables, store credentials, and any files you add ("Customer Content") remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service: to store, process, package, and transmit Customer Content to the storefronts and integrations you configure. We claim no ownership of your games.

5. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to third-party platforms (e.g. Unity Build Automation, itch.io, Steam) using credentials you supply. You are responsible for complying with those platforms' terms - including store content policies and distribution agreements - and you confirm you are entitled to use the credentials and accounts you connect. We are not responsible for actions those platforms take, including rejecting, removing, or altering content, or revoking API access.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable.

7. Deploys are your instruction

Deploys, packaging runs, and store pushes execute on your configuration and instruction. You are responsible for reviewing what you ship - including version numbers, channels and branches, and store metadata. Safety defaults (such as pushing to non-default Steam branches) reduce risk but do not transfer responsibility for releases to us.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control (including third-party platform outages) may affect availability. Support is provided per your plan.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, and may delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate or suspend the Service for material breach of these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon workspace deletion, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
